Remarks: This is a medium-sized keris, approx 30cm from tip
of the warangka to the tip of the hulu. This pamor is not
suitable for everyone--in the right hands it can work wonders.
This keris requires a keeper who maintains a high morality and
spiritual integrity. The word Mayit/Mayat in this context is Javanese not
Bahasa Indonesia. It means "slanting." Buntel Mayit means a "wrapping that
is slanting." It's energy is quite high in frequency--thus the symbolism
of the pamor that wraps it up so that it would not affect others
indiscriminately. The average person would not be able to sustain its spiritual
energies and thus react negatively to it. The spiritual person with refined
chakras, nadis, etheric/physical body, etc., would be able to sustain the
energies and benefit from them. |
